DSC TL260RNA Internet Communicator
If you’re looking for an alternative communication device or a backup device to a land-line for sending signals to a Central Station Monitoring Service then the DSC TL260 is a great choice!
This makes an alarm panel fully redundant if used in conjunction to a land-line and if used by itself it will send signals to your monitoring service with the lightning fast speed of the internet. All of the information transmitted by this device is fully encrypted with 128-bit AES protocol so that you never have to worry about signals being intercepted.
You can also use DSCs DLS programming software to makes changes in the panel’s programming either remotely or locally. Use the software and the TL260 to view event logs, change zone programming, and user information.
The TL260 board does require a 5003C expansion cabinet.IMPORTANT NOTE: Due to the nature of this product and it’s extensive use of computer networking protocols, we are only able to offer limited technical support of this particular product. We can assist with basic installation and programming, but be forewarned, our support people are alarm techs not computer network techs. If you are not very capable with networks, we recommend the much simpler TL150 model.
